I am proud to announce that I will be participating in my very first fashion show! I am so excited about this you guys! My good friend Amy Dotts will be hosting it with me and she will be showing off her fantastic fashionable dresses and bloomers – www.amydotts.com.

SO EXCITED! Monster hats will be revealed. Hats for sale. Lots of fun music and food and hanging out with my best friends and fans. This party is for everyone that supported us and believed in us and told us to keep trying. This is for all our wonderful customers, loyal fans and new friends!

This event is hosted by Amy Dotts Clothing (www.amydotts.com) and Mary Kelly of Lolly-tots hats (www.lolly-tots.com)

We are both woman owned businesses and self employed entrepreneurs with a passion for fashion and a love of color. We decided to join forces to host this event and celebrate all our hard work and show Portland what we can do! It’s going to be a fun event with music, dancing, refreshments and fun and funky fashion.

Hey everyone. Check out this show I’ll be participating in. It’s the first of the year and I’m bringing my inventory of hats that you will have access to ONLY on this day. This is before my fashion show and a good time to pick up some deals. Come on by and support local artists! We really need the help right now. Business is slow in January and we need the sales and mostly we just need the support. It’s hard working at home in the winter and the off season. Shop Update!

Hello guys! It’s a new year and I’M BACK to update you on what’s going on here at the studio.

I’m cleaning out the studio and in the process of super organizing and purging of crafty bits and old products. I have found some gems though that I wanted to post in my etsy shop. I have this super cute collection of paintings that I’ve been holding on to all year and then lost and forgot about. They are going to be available on etsy over this month and I’ll try and list a few every day. I got a good selection of the paintings on there today. Each one is one of a kind and hand drawn/painted. I’m selling a few at a super low price too because I want to pass these on and give them a good home.

Also I am proud to announce that I am finally posting hats this year! I am going through my stock and working on new designs and my etsy shop and lolly-tots website will be filled with new hat goodness. This year forward I will only be posting hats that I have finished and ready to ship. I got bogged down last year with requests for sewing and I simply can not keep up or manage to sew enough. I hope this opens my time up for more custom jobs and business management time. This way you are guaranteed a hat within a couple days and I will not get stressed out with all my sewing orders! MORE HATS! faster service… yes this is a good thing. Thanks for your patience in this you guys! I am so grateful for your support.

TODAY IS MY ETSY ANNIVERSARY! 4 years running! That means 4 years of trial and error. 4 years of working towards my dream. 4 years of meeting new etsy friends and growing in the community. WOW Etsy has come so far right? What an amazing site.. it launched me that’s for sure.

Christmas Orders!

Unfortunately I have bad news for all my online customers. My sewing schedule is FULL UP and I can’t take on any more orders this month. What that means for all of you is that I am closing up shop online and not taking any more orders for Christmas.

There is hope though! If you are local here in Portland, Oregon you can still find me EVERY weekend at the Portland Saturday Market – www.PortlandSaturdayMarket.com

I am frustrated by this just as much as you guys are! I am still working on growing as a business and currently I have a limited amount of time I can sew and how many hats I can make in a short amount of time. I’m simply overbooked. I’m training help and getting a crew together to help with production but it appears it will be too late this season for it to help me with the Christmas rush. I have a LONG list of custom orders that came in weeks ago. I’m still working on some last orders from this month and getting those out to very patient customers! Even with helpers I’m still behind and trying to keep up and make sure everyone is happy.

So if you can find me in person!
I’m sorry if you needed a hat for a present. I will be opening up shop again in January so if you wait a month you can order then!

If you have a hat ordered already that means I am working on it as fast as I can and it will be out in the next couple of weeks. All of your orders are important to me and I make sure every hat is quality made with love and care.

New Website!

We are still working on fixing a few bugs on here. Working hard to get a full selection of hats online before fall hits. It’s already turning cold over here in Portland, Oregon.

It’s time to start thinking about halloween costumes! It seems too soon but it’s already here. Soon you’ll be seeing the halloween candy in the stores and the masks and polyester costumes will cover the aisles everywhere you go.

Here at lolly-tots we are planning to launch a full line of fleece and fur hats. We are also developing some novelty designs that should work with many costumes! If you have a costume request be sure you contact us so there is enough time to make and ship your order before the big day. The waiting list is already filling up!

Stay tuned everyone. We’re working like little elves over here trying to get everything ready for you.
